Penstemon Digitalis Husker Red

Penstemon Digitalis Husker Red is a stunning, tall perennial that will bring a touch of drama and sophistication to your garden.

In early summer (June-August), this striking perennial produces tall spikes of creamy white bell shaped flowers with a subtle pinkish tint, creating a striking contrast against its foliage.The young foliage is of a deep red-burgundy stands out in both colour and texture as it emerges and then the foliage changes to green. 

This Penstemon variety thrives in partial to full sun and in well-drained soil, making it ideal for the middle of your garden borders, cottage gardens or mixed beds. Its elegant spikes of flowers attract pollinators like bees and butterflies. 

A lovely hardy perennial that dies back each year in Autumn with fresh growth coming back the following Spring.
