Penstemon Amelia Jayne

Penstemon Pensham 'Amelia Jayne' is a striking evergreen perennial.

This Penstemon is part of the Pensham series and is known for its purplish-pink flowers with white throats, that bloom profusely on tall, elegant spikes (reaching a height of around 90cm) from late spring to early summer (July - October). The trumpet shaped flowers are loved by pollinators making it a must have choice for wildlife-friendly gardens and cottage gardens.

It is an evergreen, bushy perennial with dark green foliage providing a beautiful contrast to the bold flowers. Penstemon 'Amelia Jayne' thrives in full sun and in well-drained soil and is a hardy, low-maintenance plant. 

It will flower each year for an incredible five months and deadheading of faded flowers prolongs the flowering period.
