Digitalis X Mertonensis (commonly known as Strawberry Foxglove) is a hardy perennial that is great for providing architectural height to your garden.
This semi-evergreen, clump-forming perennial grows to around 120cm tall and 60cm wide, making it great for the centre or back of a flower border or bed, adding vertical interest to your garden. It's summer flowering (May-July), with graceful spikes of tubular flowers feature a beautiful blend of soft peach/pink and creamy tones, giving them a striking appearance.
A beautiful low maintenance perennial prefers full sun or partial shade and well drained soil but is a versatile plant and will adapt to a range of soil types. It is excellent for attracting polinators to your garden and has been given the RHS prestigious Award of Garden Merit (AGM).
